Every accredited nutrition program in one honest directory.
687 programs — ACEND for the RD pathway, NANP for holistic, BCNS for clinical, and every major commercial certification. Filter by credential, cost, format, and accreditation. No sponsored ordering. Ever.
Built on the accreditors that actually matter
We pull from the recognized US credentialing bodies — not vendor marketing pages.
Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics — the only nutrition education accreditor recognized by the US Department of Education for the RD credential.
Board for Certification of Nutrition Specialists — issues the CNS credential, the leading clinical nutrition certification outside the RD track.
National Association of Nutrition Professionals — accredits holistic nutrition schools and issues the BCHN credential.
Provider-issued credentials from IIN, Precision Nutrition, NASM, ISSA, AFPA, FDN, Kresser, and others — clearly labeled as non-third-party-accredited.

Most "best nutrition certification" articles are thin affiliate listicles written to convert clicks to commissions. This is not that.
We catalog every accredited program we can verify, group them by credential, and show you exactly what each costs — including the ones where we earn nothing. Our editorial is reviewed for accuracy against accreditor data, not vendor press releases. Our database is built from ACEND, NANP, and BCNS directories. Our ranking is alphabetical within credibility tiers, not by who pays the most.
We earn money from affiliate commissions when readers enroll through tracked links. That's disclosed on every page. We do not accept payment for ranking, featured placement, or removal of criticism — full stop. When a school pays us for a verified listing or lead delivery, that's disclosed on the school's card, and it has no effect on the ranking order.
If you find a mistake, email us. We fix them within the week.
Common questions
How is this database different from other nutrition course listicles?
Most "best nutrition certification" articles you find online are thin affiliate content written by marketing teams. Ours is a structured database of every accredited program we could verify — 608 from ACEND, 36 from BCNS, 20 from NANP, plus 23 commercial certifications — with no sponsored ordering and no hidden advertising. We do earn affiliate commissions from some providers (disclosed on every page), but we've never accepted payment in exchange for ranking or inclusion.
Are you the same as Yoga Alliance or CDR?
No — we are not an accreditor, credentialing body, or school. Online Nutrition Planet is an independent editorial publication. We catalog programs from recognized US accreditors (ACEND, NANP, BCNS) and commercial providers. If you want to verify a specific program's accreditation status, always check the accreditor's own directory before enrolling.
Is the Match Me Quiz free?
Yes — completely free, no account required, no paywall. Six questions give you a personalized shortlist. You can optionally enter your email to have the full ranked list sent to you, but nothing in the database or quiz is gated.
Do you accept money from nutrition schools?
We accept affiliate commissions when a reader enrolls in a program through a tracked link (disclosed on every detail page). We do not accept payment for featured placement, ranking improvements, or inclusion in the database. A school's presence on this site has nothing to do with whether they pay us.
How often is the data verified?
The ACEND, NANP, and BCNS sources were last fully re-scraped in April 2026. Commercial certification details are spot-checked quarterly. Every detail page shows a "last verified" date — always check the provider's site directly before making a financial decision.
I see a mistake — how do I report it?
Email us at the address on the contact page. We take corrections seriously and the editorial team reviews every report within a week.
